By coming together and pooling experiences, exporters gain greater strength and depth of knowledge. They can learn from each other and from invited speakers who can give a new insight into all aspects of exporting.

Membership of the Club is open to all businesses in the Highlands and Islands who wish to participate. In particular, the Club is targeting existing exporters and those who would like to export. Membership is also available to companies who service the exporters e.g. banks or freight forwarders. The main funding comes from the HIE network and the Highland Council, which helps to keep the subscriptions moderate and encourages smaller participants.

Our objectives are:

· To seek to stimulate export trade from the Highlands and Islands area.

· To provide a forum for the interchange of knowledge on all matters relating to export trading.

· To encourage that interchange by members through lectures, debates, discussion, sponsored evenings, visits and such other activities as the Management Committee consider appropriate and desirable.
